PocketRound

A golf game of your own course

Your course. In every member's pocket.

Every hole drawn to match the real thing, dressed in your club's colours, and played straight from a phone browser. A weekly leaderboard brings members back between rounds, and every finished card ends with a link to book a tee time.

  • Nothing to download
  • Pins move every day
  • New leaderboard every Monday

See it on a real course. The demo is all 18 holes of Tandragee Golf Club, Co. Armagh.

How it plays

Easy to pick up. Hard to put down.

One thumb is all it takes. The skill is in the line, the curve and the pace, just like the real thing.

  1. The first tee at Tandragee, with the aim line drawn down the fairway

    Pick your line

Drag on the course to aim. Wind, the lie and the slope of the ground all play their part, so the best line isn't always straight at the flag.

  2. The swing pad pulled back to 98 percent power

    Swipe to swing

Pull back on the pad for power, then swipe up through the ball. Curve the swipe to draw or fade it. Rush it and it shows.

  3. A putt on the fifth green with slope arrows showing the break

    Hole out and post

Read the break, roll it in, and post your card. One card per name each week, and the board starts fresh every Monday.

Why it pays its way

Compare it with what the course already costs to promote

Most clubs already spend on showing off the course. Here's how a playable course stacks up against the usual options, marked the way you'd mark a card.

Questions clubs ask

FAQ

Do members need to download an app?

No. It runs in the phone's web browser from your club's link. Players can add it to their home screen so it opens like an app, but there's no app store and no account to create.

Which devices does it work on?

Any recent iPhone or Android phone, plus tablets and computers. It's designed for one-thumb play on a phone held upright.

How accurate is the course?

Every hole is traced from aerial imagery and yardage data: fairway shape, greens, bunkers, water, tree lines and out of bounds. You then play it yourself and we adjust anything that doesn't feel right.

Can we put it on our website?

Yes. Link to it from your site, menus and socials, or embed it on a page. It gets its own web address under your club's name.

What does it cost?

A single annual fee that covers drawing the course, branding, hosting, the leaderboard and updates. Get in touch and we'll quote for your course.

What information does it collect?

Only anonymous counts, such as visits, rounds played and tee-booking clicks, so the club can see how it's used. The only personal detail is the name a player types for the leaderboard. There are no accounts, logins or adverts.

Who looks after the leaderboard?

The club does. Your password-protected dashboard lets you remove any name from a weekly board, for example a duplicate or an unsuitable name.
